Definitely going to have to watch the severe threat next week. SPC has already defined a Day 7 risk area across the Ark latex region.
Behind that system, it's looking cold

Definitely going to have to watch the severe threat next week. SPC has already defined a Day 7 risk area across the Ark latex region. Behind that system, it's looking cold Still a slight chance for some winter potential next week. Some models and ensemble members show a lead wave drawing the cold down and energy digging more. Definitely looks like a lot of cold building in Northwestern Canada.

Opinions on the system coming in next Wednesday and Thursday. I am scheduled for minor surgery Thursday late morning. I just watched Ryan Hall (y'all) and he's talking rain to potentially significant snow In that time frame.

hypemaster ryan hall? It'll rain very likely, slim chance of severe, very slim chance of anything wintry I'd say

Long-time lurker here. Still alive and happily retired for almost 3 months!! Happy Thanksgiving to all on the corner!! I am very grateful for this forum! I don't chime in often unless I have something to report. You all are so far ahead of me with models that I am just happy to read what you have to say. Chris, you are, in my humble opinion, the best meteorologist on TV!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Was a very busy day with family, and very thankful to have them all as well as everyone on this forum.
Everybody have a safe drive home this evening as it is quite soggy out there, up to .27 inches in st.peters up from the .18 from this morning so the showers are starting to add up.
Here is to a happy holiday season.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who were able to have it today. The same goes to everyone else who may have had theirs before today or had to delay and are having their Thanksgiving this weekend. I'm hoping we have a couple blockbuster powerhouse storms to watch this winter. Lets avoid looking great 72 hours out only to shift northwest 24-48 hours within..haha.
