Pond's full. Lol.
If I could post a pic, I'd show you the discharge pipes at the spillway running a strong flow out. Been awhile.
So far I've had 1.75" of rain IMBY today. Some of that came in the form of pea to marble sized hail. A healthy storm indeed!

My uneducated guess would be shelf or roll cloud.

Plenty of low spinny wispy scud in Marissa. Winds flipped from SSW to N as it came through, but only gusted to around 35mph...but for a 3 minute run...according to Miles Davis on the swingset.

Is it safe to say without jinxing it to say the St.louis area dodged a bullet?

Looks like I won’t be seeing a whole lot here either. I’m in an unexpected void.

Several areas of rotation in Randolph County I always forget there’s a Randolph County in Illinois. Had me nervous there for a few seconds.

My uneducated guess would be shelf or roll cloud. Thanks. That was my guess too. It has been one wild day. Got my third insurance claim in before bed. Looks like that southern end wants to chug along and create a straight line wind threat now south of Perry County.

S-central TN / northern AL has been getting blown up with tornado warnings. I have a nephew in Manchester, TN. Almost as soon as they came out of one warning, they went right back into another.

Man, I hate even seeing a tornado warning over Mayfield, KY. I can’t imagine the fear most of those folks must live in after what happened in 2021.

What a wild ride that was yesterday afternoon. Glad that is over. I’ll have a few hours of tractor work to fix the driveway, and a few dings in the truck, but that is it and I’ll take it.
We have property south of Annapolis on the Black River, sounds like those folks in Annapolis are going to have a tough morning and days to come.

Our neighbor, a business, has damage caused by the winds knocking down a power line. It managed to catch a vinyl fence on fire, melting 30-40 feet of the fence, causing the molten plastic to drape down over their retaining wall.

I guess now that things have calmed down I think it might be ok to post this movie trailer that was released today of all days. The first one...ok imo. Bill and philip did a great job. They are gone now. The next one coming out in july...not something that looks good. Just like the first one, ill pass on seeing it on big screen.
