We have a skylight busted and some back windows of cars busted on our Ste. Gen campus from earlier. Didn’t feel like we had much lead time. It was wild, right as we went tornado warned and took kids to basement to shelter , the sky turned green/black. Then as we walked down to locker rooms to shelter I saw rotation in sky above school but nothing descending. Then we went down steps and lights flickered and almost shut off . I remained calm but made the hairs on back of neck stand up. We also had some decent sized hailstones. See if I can post or upload picture from neighbor soon. Looks like hailstones to be ping pong to golf ball sized if not a hair larger. Multiple cars with front windshield damage being reported now.

Sunny here in St.peters, also very windy Those winds knocked a power line off the pole and start a fire in the lot next to our house. Fire dept arrived and put it out. Fortunately I still have power. |

Sounds like a large tornado on the ground near Carterville heading towards Marion ….. so many buildings in that area

I had a few 3/4" hail mixed with the pea and marble sized hail. Very little to no wind 7 miles west of De Soto. My son-in-law had a picture of what looks like a golf ball size Hailstone. He works in Hillsboro just south of B on 21. We were definitely spared here except for the rain. Our storm Creek that goes under the driveway and in front of the house it couldn't handle the water and it overflowed the driveway. Closest I've ever seen it to get to the house. it was lapping at our first front porch step. Sure glad it stopped raining when it did.
