I can't wait for that outflow. But it's going to be too late to help the metro cool off today, maybe at least it will cool off quick after 5 p.m. with it no doubt about it we break 100, currently I am 102 with a dp of 65 in st.peters as I just got home for lunch.

Decided to pick the first of the blackberries, the last of the raspberries, and cut the old raspberry vines out. Can confirm it's pretty hot outside. Don't miss working in it every day.

My Accurite is showing 100° with a heat index of 114° at 12:50pm.

Been picking blackberries for a couple weeks now. Had a great blueberry crop but they are about done.

Nive looking line of thunderheads hanging to our north. Picture worthy. Unfortunately they're all moving east so, at least for the short term, they aren't in the cards for us.

Just a cool note... Falcon Heavy, carrying the GOES-U Satellite to Geostationary orbit will launch in about 30 minutes...

Outflow is coming through here now. Heard a loud bang outside and the power hiccuped.

I was wrong too. In our defense the ridge intensity and positioning wasn't ideal and that was a needle thread with the clouds/rain.
Yeah, I think the dewpoint depressions higher up is allowing some compressional heating of the outflow keeping them warmer than we typically see. An OFB just hit STL and it only dropped to 91 F. And although the soundings are far from ideal for heat bursts (Td too high down low) I wouldn't be too hasty in completely writing off a rogue one from one of these cells as it dies.
Can't believe I've had about a hundred raindrops with all the Thunder and the radar just looks like it's right on top of me, this is insane.
That's about all I've had, as well. Is the heat evaporating the rain drops at this point?

gonefishin - WashMO: We have Grandparents Day/Open House at school on Sunday. Getting nervous about the idea of our grandparents walking between church and school with icy conditions. Glad it’s not my call. Hoping the ice holds off.
