I love winter, but even I'm done with it. I have a yard to clean up after getting some concrete work done last fall.

Models look awfully chilly beyond mid-week with the blocky flow across the higher latitudes continuing...I wouldn't rule out seeing more flakes around Easter.
Severe wise, Monday and Wednesday seem to be the focus points. GFS definitely looks aggressive with the frontal passage Monday, which if corrected supports a greater severe threat around here into the evening hours. Then the main push comes through Wednesday...but timing is still in question.

This has been the rule for the last several years winter hangs tough well into april. I miss the days when we were done with cold by the spring equinox like it was in the 2000s.
Seasonal shift I guess because its summer until october these days, and fall seems to be december and november and winter is january through April. Just seems like transition seasons are shorter and winter and summer never want to leave

Been kind of a common theme last several years...getting fairly old. But I'll take this over a 2012-like "spring".

I think they'll come on gangbusters next week...but we'll see. We only got down to 32* with no frost that I could see. 2nd freeze warning of the season that hasn't verified here.

Well over here in House Springs it look like Anna and Elsa ❄️ just left because we had a hard freeze 🥶
Thick ice in cars, pansies froze solid = this boogles my mind how a plant can freeze solid and come back beautiful hours later...
I got 60 pounds of morels dropped off at my store yesterday from Arkansas to Georgia they were picked... None of my local pickers have called me with any yet next week and the following should be sweet around here
I'll probably be looking every day this week!

Tomorrow:
...Southeast KS across the Ozark Plateau into Mid MS Valley... Warm temperatures aloft are expected to suppress deep convection throughout most of the day. However, strong heating coupled with persistent low-level moisture advection and modest ascent ahead the front should erode this capping just as the front moves through. Guidance suggests dewpoints will be into the upper 50s ahead of the front during the late afternoon across far southeast KS into central and southern MO. This low-level moisture and steep mid-level lapse rates will support moderate buoyancy. As such, the current expectation is for strong to severe thunderstorms to develop quickly along the front as it moves into the region during the late afternoon/early evening. Steep mid-level lapse rates and moderate mid-level flow will support hail with initial updrafts. The relatively dry mid-level suggests a largely outflow-dominant storm structure and a transient to a more linear mode will likely occur quickly. The main severe potential is expected with the development along the front, but some risk will linger across these areas after the initial frontal passage if elevated storms develop amid the continued warm-air advection.

Models not jazzed up at all about tonight most are bone dry until tomorrow late morning/afternoon even. Looks like Wednesday is going to be the big day before the big Easter Cool down that last through 4/20 maybe another shot of snow (very iffy) then it's Summer time once we hit the 22nd and beyond of the month.
