A few flakes mixing in here or there. No where near a full turn to snow.

Nothing but wet ground currently in Farmington. Our turnover won’t be for a while however.

Nothing but cold rain here.
And the radar is weakening on this side.
Echo tops have decreased as well as returns.
I think folks in IL are probably looking at 1-2" too so at this point.
If we even change over before the heavier precip slidss South

It's been "changing over" for almost an hour now in Ballwin. It's still half rain. This stinks. Can't beat January night time air snow.

25% flakes, 75% rain in Ballwin...going on 5 hours rain. Snow looks so close on radar but just hasn't moved. Really felt I'd be going to bed with hamsters falling. Not getting my hopes up too much about what I'll find in the morning. Looks like a ton of moisture still out there.

Back to just all rain here now Man...I was hoping you guys would have had the full switchover by now. It seems very "sloppy" with the changeover from the reports. Rain mixing with snow then back to rain etc.

Still rain and 34° in MO'fallon. I wish there were signs of this changing over, but I haven't seen any. Where abouts is you? I'm at K and N. Just went outside again and it is still mostly liquid with a few flakes mixed in. You must be a a higher elevation than me if you have switched over to all snow.

I never mentioned a switchover to all snow. Still mostly rain with flakes mixed in. When you mentioned 34 and all rain, I said you need to look harder. We need one more solid band to transition. I have a built in night owl security system that detects all the flakes falling. We aren't even close to a full transition. Waiting for that mustard to hit.

I have not made any false observations.

Still no snow.
Back up to 34F with the precip now back to a light rain.
It's a forbidden word.
But this is a couple hours from a huge bust.
There's almost no way anyone gets 4-6" in the immediate metro.
So the high side of the forecast is already toast.
My zone forecast was 4-8".
Now it's 3-6".
Its hard to imagine 3-6" looking out at the soaking rain coming on 0630Z.

Radar showing snow line collapsing SW.
However we have drizzle now and the radars Eastern edge is falling apart.
How is there still a warm layer?

I have a visual that's different than a naked eye view walking outside. I was hoping for a quicker transition when I saw those first few flakes. But it happened when we were under a nice yellow band hours ago. We've held steady ever since and all we need is one more heavy band to slide through our neck of the woods to transition IMO. It's no push back, it's just a different point of view. Cheers.

I'm cozy in my office watching my webcams from a TV. Each camera is like a flood light with a HiDef video. It feels like cheating because I don't have to put on a pair of pants and a warm coat to wait for a flake to fall in my glove lol. But it's a great security system to have. I have kids that need to be monitored on a busy village in our neighborhood.

Finally all snow riverport /earth city area light snow, something is going to have to change dramatically for this to amount to much. Air snow with a temp of 34 is going to get it. Hopefully intensity picks us a lot and we cool some more soon. Radar looks like light to occasional moderate snow, unfortunately all the yellow returns are gone now wasted by rain .

Rain and Snow Mix. Just won’t changeover. Sleet is mixing in now which could be a little bonus though.
