35* now but with moderate rain 7 miles west of De Soto. Just sucks that we are losing some qpf to rain. So painful being under these yellows and oranges just to have steady rain falling lol

That's the melting doing its job. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Light rain in Marissa. Let's do this! Either way, it's an Irish whiskey kinda night.

On my drive back from Cape up 55 and then north on 141 then west/north on 64 towards o’fallon the temperature stayed pretty consistent around 35-36 degrees. Just have to stay the course and remain patient.

Radar shows the mesoband is slowly working to the East towards the river...everyone on the IL side should get the goods soon enough. This is looking SO GOOD for the Metro and points 30-50mi either side of the river. I hope be so. The HRRR KEEPS TRENDING DRIER along and East of the river with every run

Looks like possible CSI enhancement within this band looking at that sounding with increasing and unidirectional wind with height through and above the DGZ. Might see a few lightning strikes tonight near the changeover line.

It's been interesting monitoring the Virtual Railfan cameras. Galesburg, IL and Fort Madison, IA have been snowing for hours. Quincy turned to snow about an hour ago and accumulation has been adding up quick. La Plata, MO is still singing in the rain.

Well if your 3500 feet above me I'm sure you would be getting smacked with "paint ball level snow rockets But no I'm singing in the hypothermic rain

The northwest cams like Revelstoke BC have been pretty awesome over the last month.
