GFS sure is late with the precip showing up at the surface with saturation not until very late morning.

NAM and GFS have pretty much just flip flopped scenarios the last 36 hours.

This is dumb. Can we not find a consensus of some sort?

Models are the worst in history in my opinion. I think its safe to say Friday has inpactful wonter weather at some point. Could be a freezing drizzle night mare or a full blown ice storm. Or something in. Between.

GFS sure is late with the precip showing up at the surface with saturation not until very late morning. Battle of WAA and DAM? I'll still take dry air.
Today's the first day I've looked. Has the NAM been getting later and later? I thought originally it was overnight for several hours into rush, but 12Z seemed to be onset around rush--no?

Yeah, I'm just joking about the "wonter" thing, but as Mchafin said check your posts before sending them, or even just after posting. It's easy to edit on here. I edit half of mine I think lol.

The 12 znam is even worth it even colder throughout the day Friday.
1-2" of snow then 0.5" of ice

The NAM may be bit later than it was before. We have WAA, DAM, and the fact WAA precip always starts a few hours earlier than models show. You have all of that, and it's a bunch of I have no idea from me, lol.

So when does spring weather arrive? I know its blasphemous to say this, but Im ready for spring. I dont know if its the way this winter has unfolded or whether Im just getting older and like winter less. Maybe if winter would just act like winter, I would feel better about it!

Gem still northwest half. I have a feeling conceptually 44 will become the bullseye after everything gets hashed out.

We've had Spring for 2 months. Way above normal temps and inches of rain. Some wet snow too. Just like Spring.

Just check your darn posts before you post or just after, and correct if it's jacked up! ^^this^^! It is easy to edit posts. I do all the time when I miss a typo. I think Friv must use voice to text because he is always typing "name" instead of NAM. Also, the incorrect use of "to" instead of "too" on this forum drives the former teacher in me crazy. If we are talking about "to" in reference to excess then it is "too". I don't even remember the exact rules for using "too" but it isn't difficult to figure out. Sorry for the rant. As for the weather I am worried about ice on Friday.

UKMET? What did the euro look like this morning? Ukie looks like it has some ice. It’s certainly trended weaker with the system the last couple days Euro starts coming out at 11:45

I love sitting in a cold car after work, in the dark because of the short days. It's my favorite part of Winter. It's when I ususally say, "We don't have to live like this!" and I dream of moving to Florida or southern Texas.
