Small hail in High Ridge. Torrential Rain. Looking for input on the best Radarscope product for hail. Seems like Specific Differential Phase gives a good indicator, even though it's more for heavy rain.

Seems like Specific Differential Phase gives a good indicator, even though it's more for heavy rain. VIL...the digital product is best for locating the hail core, the old VIL at the bottom of the list is best for determining hail size IMO |

The Hi-Res Specific Differential Phase gives a similar signature and looks prettier, but I agree the digital VIL gives better information. |

Dupo and milistadt, IL look to be next. Might sail south of Belleville but too close for comfort. Looks like we'll get the worst of the hail though.
