Definitely a model battle setting up next week between the GFS and EC. The GEFS mean looks active between Wed-Fri with several storm chances while the EC is substantially more amplified with the ridge and keeps the firing zone well to the north. The GFS also retrogrades the ridge into the IMW towards months end while the EC anchors it over the Central US. The EC is a worst case scenario, with drought conditions rapidly setting in. Let's hope it's wrong...
