Still a BUNCH of hook echoes across southern Indiana and Alabama. I think I'm glad all we have is wind.

Looking at the wind reports nws put on fb....i wldve thght much higher. My house feels like its shaking apart. Lol I would have thought they would have been higher, too. Though this is only through 1130 or noon and my strongest gusts have come since then.

I wouldnt be driving a high profile vehicle.

According to the wind map the peak gusts are spreading across the river valley now. Once the stratus moves in it will slack off. Even under the stratus we're mixing in some ~50mph mph wind gusts here and there.

Now that I have interests in Cincy... I watch their weather more closely. I would really like to see a TORNADO WARNING for monster super cell southwest of Cincy. That is a beast!

My daughter goes to college about an hour away from Cincy. Spoke with her a few hours ago and said that everyone was loving the spring time temp but that the wind gusts were notable.

Looks like teleconnections go pretty much neutral. That should spell a rather prolonged period of normal temps and moisture. I’m fine ending the winter season like this. Til next season.

Ya I don’t see any real chance of accumulating snow around here the rest of the month. It’s always possible we get a surprise in April but I rather just get on with spring

Is the precip in Kansas going to dissipate before it comes here or will Iowa get it?

Is the precip in Kansas going to dissipate before it comes here or will Iowa get it? I think we'll see some flakes flying late tonight into tomorrow AM. The northern counties are favored though.
