Looking at the storms and the watch box, it doesn't get much more precise than that.
Just a decent light show up to the south here

One of the best light shows we’ve had here, ever. It was very eerie on the lead up to the rain, almost no wind and lighting all around.

Major tree damage from the east part of the Ozark’s, into Advance and over into Scott City. Paducah is estimating winds at 80-90 mph with a storm that was only moving at 20mph.

That storm came just far enough north to give us .3 last night …… better than nothing

Rain, thunder, what a surprise-in Festus! At 2:55a. Started raining 3 minutes after I woke up in St. Peters. We haven't gotten much the last few days so it's welcome. Just got a rumble of thunder, too.

Rest of May into June looking drier and drier as we approach the Solstice. Not trends we want to see.

Forecast for Saturday from 2:00-5:00 or so in Grantfork would be much appreciated. Looks like spotty showers in the morning and again mid to late afternoon. Wind profiles don't look too impressive for anything severe. I'll take a worst case scenario of rain. I really don't want to tell a couple hundred people to take shelter in a closet somewhere.

Drought conditions continue to build in Missouri. I'm a little surprised the metro area is only D0. I would have expected D1 by now. My yard is really dry with the bare spots starting to split and crack.

EPS and GEFS have about 1.5" over the next 10 days so hopefully we can keep this drought tamed for now. Or course, ensembles were saying about 2" about 10 days ago and we only ended up getting 0.5" at the airport.

Trying to catch up on the gardens and yard work. Got the herbs planted. Didn't look like rain so I watered them in. Then...........everything clouds up and it rains. Also, got quite a show from the Blue Angels while watering.

I have quite the Blue Angels show from my office. I thought there would be more widespread rain by now. Couple sprinkles and that is it.
