All models have shifted sharply east. Drier than a bone through mid month. Lame, but unsurprisingly expected. Keep the shades handy!

Happy Thanksgiving, Corner Friends!
If model trends hold up, we may not climb out of the 20s on Monday with wind blown flurries or SNSH developing underneath the cold core.

World Series, are you talking about the second storm later in the week?

World Series, are you talking about the second storm later in the week? Nope, has a strip of 1-3 inches with lollipops of 4 by early next week. That’s the snow depth product, so pretty nice to see.

Weekend system is now officially an East Coast system we're on the very western edge of the cold air mass, so doubt there will be any flakage here. Just expecting some clouds followed by more sunshine. In otherwords we can write the Sunday Monday system off. 4-6th period is still something there, but the GFS is a sheared off piece of kit while the Euro blows it up. Let's see how that one goes. If that misses, not expecting anything until at least the 18th or so of December when it could get interesting again... Maybe...

Every single 12z run along with several previous runs bring the core of the arctic airmass right down across the region on Monday.

If all fails, Dr. Cohen is pointing towards a reflective PV event with likely impacts mid month.
That’s a good fall back

Ya know...the Mississippi River is 8-10C right now and with winds coming in parallel to the river with steep low level lapse rates Monday morning...
Yeah...it's a long shot.
