My roommate woke me up and asked what the f*** that was. When he described it, I told him it was probably just a train. Woke up the wife and me. We thought it was the wind. I was working on the 4th floor at SLU hospital. The building swayed, scared the crap out of me.

Hey Lab... how are roads up there? I am heading back your way Sunday. Roads are waterlogged. So far haven't heard anything yet about interstate closures.

Heading out on the road for the morning weather later on. I'll be meeting up with one of our very own members here! He is launching a weather balloon with his class...it should be fun. You should watch

Some of those over night lows next week are getting pretty chilly. What are the chances some of us may see a frost or freeze next week?

Check out the NHC forecast track for Lorenzo. I don't think I've ever seen Belgium and the Netherlands in an NHC forecast cone before.

The one along the IL/IN border on 4/18/2008 woke me up. I then woke up my wife, who had slept through it, and told her I thought an earthquake just happened and she said, "No it didn't. Go back to sleep!" I totally remember that one. I woke up to what sounded like a train or low rumbling. I jumped out of bed to look out the window (that was open) and then felt the shaking. Scared the hell out of me!

I had same experience except thought it was the lady’s down the hall shaking my loft bed cause I crashed with a bunch of people in my room that night , looked down and no one was there.

Chris are the videos from the balloon that you showed this morning going to be available on line? Either Fox2now or the school website?

Thank God the 90's are done for a few months. Hopefully.
Now it needs to get cold enough for the mosquitoes to go away for a while.
