The radar looks amazing. Surface winds out of the North now.
Warm layer is razor thin.
If we don't see a quick transition to moderate to heavy snow.
Then bad luck today.

Just heard it was snowing heavily in Calhoun...radar shows blips of 35dbz...probably some fatty flakes in that band.

It's a little concerning to see the local obs didn't really wet bulb down.
Hopefully when dynamical cooling gets revved up it will.
But temps are in the upper 30s with dews in the mid 30s where it's raining.

The radar shows the frontal forcing thats associated with lift higher up in the dgz. So hopefully when that moves through.
The changeover sweeps through.

The frontal forcing signature is freaking great on radar.
The leading edge of this is now pressing past 64/40.
I'll be very surprised if we don't change over. It's raining pretty hard now

Snow is now sticking. A slushy coating on everything except for the pavement. Moderate snow continues.

Pouring snow now and temp went from 33 up to 34 when the intensity picked up. But at same time started to slushy accumulate on elevated surfaces etc. roads sidewalks etc all clear and wet at the moment
